Don’t hold it too tight, let it go

This is my first blog, I have always been a reader of books and blogs so you might find my writing inspired by various other philosophers, writers, bloggers, and speakers but here I will write about things from my perspective, before starting I would like to thank my parents, teachers, friends and to all the people out there who in any way has affected my life.

Most of life’s struggles come from attachment the more we get attached the more we get hurt and feel disappointed, we live in a society where we can’t stop ourselves from getting attached and getting hurt but with right and mindful practice at least we can control the damage and can prevent ourselves from getting hurt every time. so, the question arises what are the methods and step to be followed, below I am stating some of the ways which I find helpful and that can help you too if practiced intentionally

1)     BREATHE the most basic and important step, practice the 4-4-4 method place yourself in a comfortable space then breathe in for 4 seconds hold it for 4 seconds, and then release it for 4 seconds, practice this for 5-6 times, be in the moment.

2)     FACE AND FEEL don’t run away from the feelings and emotions, accept them observe them feel them own them, feel the attachment associated with the emotions feel their sensation.

3)     ANALYSE now analyze the attachment are they good, will they benefit you, or are they becoming toxic and causing you all the hurt and suffocation, you can use pen and paper to think and write them clearly, filter them through your values and principles.

4)     ACTION TIME after observing and analyzing, now you know whether to keep it or to leave it.

5)     LET IT GO after finding your answer tell your mind, body, and soul that we are letting it go from us we are getting detached from it, joyfully releasing your grip on the rope which was hurting you and causing you pain, now get up and commit not return to that particular attachment and thing.

Try this now. Is there something, or someone you have been feeling frustrated about trying to get rid of some bad feelings and avoiding getting addicted to it? try this practice and tell me about it

I will come up with weekly blogs every Saturday
